It's me.
It's me.
About Me.
Kia ora! I am a professional theatre and concert photographer based in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
My love for live performance started long before I picked up a camera. I grew up performing in musicals and playing in bands, which gave me a firsthand appreciation for the grit, magic, and dedication it takes to bring a show to life.
Because I know what it’s like to be on stage, I know exactly when to capture the right moments. I work unobtrusively to document the whole story: the raw emotion under the lights, the quiet focus backstage, and the energy of the crowd. From student productions to professional musicals, my goal is to deliver images that truly honour the passion behind the performance.
For me, theatre photography isn't just about taking pictures. It’s about preserving the legacy of your production, ensuring the cast, crew, and families can relive the magic for years to come.
Personal Touch.
Because my creative journey started under the spotlight, I’ve always understood the power of storytelling and the emotion behind every scene.
When I transitioned to the other side of the lens, my passion for photography truly took off. I fell in love with the unique challenges of live photography—taming dynamic stage lighting, anticipating a crucial beat before it happens, and freezing the raw emotion of a performance. Today, I combine my insider knowledge of theatre, my background in teaching, and my technical skills to create images that preserve the energy, artistry, and heart of your show.
